Nitronic 50 Tubing

Nitronic 50 Tubing

Alloy Metals and Tubes International, Inc. (AMTI) stocks and sells tubing in various alloys, including Nitronic® 50 Stainless Steel (UNS S20910/XM-19). By supplying Nitronic® 50, we are able to meet multiple needs of our business partners in varied markets.

When an application demands a high strength, non-magnetic alloy, Nitronic® 50 answers the call, and often with a cost savings when compared with alloys like 718. Nitronic® 50 owns good mechanical properties across a wide range of temperatures, does not become magnetic when cold worked or cooled to sub-zero temperatures, and enjoys excellent corrosion resistance in harsh environments.

Our partner mill produces Nitronic® 50 tubing in diameters up to 2.5 inches with wall thicknesses changeable to meet specifications, achieving yield strengths up to 170,000 ksi. Lead times, often a limiting factor of production, can be as little as 8-10 weeks from time of order. Having a strategic partnership with the mill allows Alloy Metals and Tubes International to respond quickly and efficiently to demand and movement from our customers across industries such as petroleum, petrochemical, chemical, fertilizer, nuclear fuel recycling, pulp and paper, textile, food processing, and marine.

In addition to our ability to work with the mill, AMTI currently stocks sizes with ODs ranging from 1.707” to 2.35” that are most commonly consumed for down-hole applications. These tubes are on our shelves in Houston and ready for consumption immediately.
