Nitronic® 50 Stainless Steel (UNS S20910/XM-19) is an austenitic steel that possesses a unique blend of strength, including twice the yield strength at room temperature, and corrosion resistance superior to that of Stainless Steels 316, 316/L, 317 and 317/L. Nitronic® 50 owns good mechanical properties across a wide range of temperatures, does not become magnetic when cold worked or cooled to sub-zero temperatures, and enjoys excellent corrosion resistance in harsh environments.

In applications where SS Types 316, 316/L, 317 and 317/L might only be marginally effective, Nitronic® 50 tubing often proves to be the alloy of choice. These applications are seen throughout a wide variety of industries – petroleum, petrochemical, chemical, fertilizer, nuclear fuel recycling, pulp and paper, textile, food processing and marine – and include many different things – pumps, valves and fittings, fasteners, cables, chains, screens and wire cloth, marine hardware, boat and pump shafts, heat exchangers, springs and photographic equipment. Alloy Metals and Tubes International provides Nitronic® 50 tubing in standard instrumentation sizes and also as custom mechanical tubes to the oil field service industry to serve as housings for down-hole tools.

Alloy Metals and Tubes International, stocking and supplying Nitronic® 50 tubing to meet the diverse needs of customers in varied markets and applications, seeks to be your preferred quality supplier of Nitronic® 50 tubing. Contact us, or send us a request for a quote today.
