Quality Management

Since receiving the ISO 9001:2008 Certificate in September 2011, Alloy Metals and Tubes International, Inc. has successfully maintained  ISO 9001:2008 Certification status verified by annual audits performed by certified bodies. As a result of this focus, the most recent external audit, performed by our certificate holder BSI in July 2016, resulted in zero findings. With an eye on the future of evolving best practices in quality standards, AMTI remains on track to transition to ISO 9001:2015 by July of 2017.
As a part of our quality program, AMTI has met or exceeded the quality objectives defined by the company in Customer Satisfaction and Customer On-time Deliveries. Our supplier KPIs are used to determine the best source of material for our customers. Due to using the information obtained from these methods we maintain our valuable partner relationships with both our suppliers and customers.
Inspired by legendary quality pioneer W. Edwards Deming, continuous improvement has formed the bedrock of the culture at AMTI. Therefore it continues via the implementation of Industrial Distribution Best Practices in every facet of our business. As the industry changes, AMTI seeks to constantly improve in order to better serve the market.
AMTI’s warehouse operates at the highest possible efficiency employing Best Practices and continual improvement into the day-to-day operations. By bringing the quality culture and continuous improvement into operations, AMTI seeks to set itself apart in an inefficient marketplace. Consequently, AMTI hopes to use these things to bring quality in its service to you!
